At Solution F, over 40 years of experience and a pioneering spirit enable us to take on the most ambitious challenges through special projects. Driven by a proactive and innovative approach, we support the creation of unique solutions that contribute to the advancement of carbon-free mobility.
We transform emerging technologies into concrete achievements by integrating them into demonstration vehicles, which showcase their potential and serve as levers for the development of tomorrow’s solutions.
Unveiled at the 2023 Le Mans 24 Hours, Solution F’s Foenix H2 is one of the world’s first competition GT cars powered by a hydrogen combustion engine.
Throughout its rich history, Solution F has pioneered numerous innovations in both chassis and engine technology. Designed for racing, the Foenix H2 is the perfect illustration of this combination of skills, showcasing a sophisticated GT chassis and the Provençal company’s recently acquired expertise in hydrogen combustion engines. Given its operating cost, recognised reliability and ease of handling, the Foenix H2 represents a real alternative to current GTs.
The Foenix H2 is equipped with a 6.2-litre V8 hydrogen internal combustion engine supercharged by a mechanical compressor, developing 450 kW (612 hp) at 6,500 rpm and 700 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. Based on a proven classic 4-stroke architecture, this engine features an innovative direct hydrogen injection system that allows hydrogen to be used as fuel.
The dihydrogen molecule has a high energy density (1 kg of this gas is equivalent to approximately 3 kg of petrol), and its combustion generates only water vapour and a small amount of nitrogen oxides.
Developed and integrated by Solution F, it benefits from the technological expertise of motor racing, enabling testing under the most extreme conditions.
On Saturday 15 June 2024, the Foenix H2, the French GT car equipped with a hydrogen-powered V8 engine, designed, manufactured and developed by Solution F, shone during a historic drive in front of the audience at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, illustrating the full potential of this new technology.
What if a 1976 Jeep became the symbol of tomorrow’s mobility?
That’s the challenge we took on with the Jeep H2, a unique retrofit project that embodies all of Solution F’s expertise in innovative powertrains.
Although impressive, the Jeep H2 is much more than just a show car: it is a technology demonstrator that represents a major step forward in the decarbonisation of transport. This 1976 Jeep Cherokee Chief, completely ‘restomodded’ by our teams, is powered by a 6.2L V8 hydrogen internal combustion engine designed and developed by us, and was presented at CES in Las Vegas in 2024 and at the 2024 Paris Motor Show.

This project enabled us to test and master the hydrogen technologies developed within the GCK group on board a vehicle:
Thanks to tests carried out on our own multi-energy compatible test benches, we were able to validate each stage with precision. The system integration and complete restoration of the vehicle, combined with a premium finish, position the Jeep H2 as an exceptional demonstrator, faithful to the standards of a hydrogen show car of tomorrow.
Monaco eKart Championship, promoter and organiser of electric karting competitions, called on Solution F to develop a 100% electric competition kart designed for urban racing!

After several years of research and collaboration, this innovative kart has been developed and embodies a new vision of motor sport: zero CO2 emissions, zero noise pollution and optimised performance for racing exclusively in urban environments. More than just an electric kart, this vehicle is a real tool for raising awareness of the energy transition and an opportunity for young drivers to train and develop in a sporting, educational and sustainable environment.
Our expertise in electric propulsion systems, our long-standing experience in motorsport and our ability to offer personalised support have enabled us to deliver a tailor-made, high-performance and reliable solution. It will be one of the first e-karts approved by the FFSA and compliant with future FIA regulations.
